Terms & Conditions
Clear Terms. Transparent Training.
The terms that govern the use of our website, training programs, testing services, and online registration.
Last updated: August 5, 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to all visitors, students, testing candidates, and clients of Hybrid Solutions Institute, a career school licensed by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC School #S61575). Please read them carefully before registering for a program or scheduling an exam.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Hybrid Solutions Institute (“HSI,” “we,” “us”) website, registering for a course, scheduling a testing appointment, or using any HSI service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. Eligibility
To enroll in HSI programs or use our testing services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age, or enrolled with documented parent/guardian consent where a program permits minors.
- Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information.
- Meet any prerequisites, licensing requirements, or documentation requirements specific to the selected program or exam.
- Present valid, government-issued photo identification when required for training or testing.
3. Registration and Enrollment
Registration is complete only when HSI has received the required enrollment information and applicable payment or approved funding authorization. Seats are limited and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. HSI reserves the right to reschedule, combine, or cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, instructor availability, or circumstances beyond our control, and will offer an alternate date or a refund of tuition paid for the cancelled session.
4. Tuition and Fees
- Published tuition reflects instruction and standard course materials unless otherwise noted.
- Exam, certification, licensing, background-check, and third-party proctoring fees may be separate and are set by the issuing organization.
- Tuition and fees are subject to change; the amount in effect at the time of registration applies to that enrollment.
- Retake, reschedule, replacement-card, and duplicate-document fees may apply.
5. Payment Terms
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. Tuition is due prior to the first day of class unless a written payment arrangement or third-party funding authorization (employer, agency, or grant) is on file. Declined, reversed, or charged-back payments may result in suspension of enrollment until the balance is resolved. HSI does not store full payment card numbers on its servers.
6. Refund and Cancellation Policy
HSI follows the refund requirements applicable to career schools licensed by the Texas Workforce Commission. In general:
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Contact@hybridsolutions.institute.
- Registration fees and third-party exam vouchers already issued are generally non-refundable.
- Refunds for withdrawal after a program begins are prorated based on the portion of the program completed at the time of withdrawal.
- If HSI cancels a class, students receive a full refund of tuition paid for that class or may transfer to the next available cohort.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original method of payment, typically within 30 days of the withdrawal or cancellation date.
7. Student Responsibilities
- Complete all assignments, labs, and practical evaluations required for course completion.
- Maintain accurate contact information with HSI at all times.
- Arrive prepared with required identification, personal protective equipment, and materials.
- Respect instructors, staff, fellow students, testing candidates, and facility property.
8. Attendance Requirements
Certification bodies impose minimum contact-hour requirements. Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions. Excessive absence or tardiness may result in loss of certification eligibility, removal from the cohort, or a requirement to repeat the program. Make-up sessions, when available, may carry an additional fee.
9. Testing Policies
- Candidates must present valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification matching the registration name.
- Candidates should arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment; late arrivals may forfeit the appointment and any fees paid.
- Testing sessions are governed by the rules of the sponsoring exam vendor, including prohibited items and security procedures.
- Any misconduct, unauthorized materials, or attempt to compromise exam security will result in immediate dismissal and reporting to the exam vendor.
- Reschedule and no-show policies are set by the exam vendor and are enforced by HSI as an authorized testing site.
10. Certification Disclaimer
Enrollment in, payment for, or completion of any HSI program does not guarantee certification, examination passage, employment, licensure, grant or funding approval, or job placement. Certifications and licenses are awarded solely by the applicable third-party certifying body or state agency, subject to their independent standards, testing, and eligibility requirements.
11. Intellectual Property
All course materials, curricula, presentations, handouts, videos, logos, and website content are the property of HSI or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Materials are provided for individual student use only and may not be copied, recorded, redistributed, resold, or used for commercial training without prior written permission.
12. Website Use
- Use the website only for lawful purposes related to HSI programs and services.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the site, accounts, or connected systems.
- Do not introduce malicious code, scrape content in bulk, or interfere with site operation.
- HSI may suspend access to the website for conduct that violates these terms.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HSI and its officers, instructors, and staff are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website, participation in a program, or use of testing services. HSI’s total liability for any claim is limited to the amount of tuition or fees you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. The website and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
14. Code of Conduct
- Harassment, discrimination, threats, or violence of any kind are prohibited.
- Possession or use of alcohol, illegal drugs, or weapons on premises is prohibited.
- Academic dishonesty, including cheating or falsifying documentation, may result in dismissal without refund.
- Disruptive behavior that interferes with instruction or testing may result in removal from the facility.
15. Privacy Reference
Your use of the website and our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.
16. Changes to Terms
HSI may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Revised terms take effect when posted to this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website or services after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
