Last updated: August 5, 2026
Hybrid Solutions Institute respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, request program information, enroll in training, or schedule an exam — and how that information is used, shared, secured, and retained.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, information generated automatically when you use our website, and information provided by third parties such as employers or funding agencies that sponsor your training.
2. Personal Information
- Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
- Program or exam of interest and registration details.
- Emergency contact information where required for hands-on training.
- Identification details required to verify eligibility for certification or testing.
- Information you include in inquiry forms, interest-list requests, or messages to our staff.
3. Payment Information
Payment card information is collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processor. Hybrid Solutions Institute does not store full payment card numbers, CVV codes, or bank credentials on its servers. We retain only transaction records such as amount, date, program purchased, and a processor-issued confirmation identifier.
4. Website Analytics
- Pages visited, time on page, referring site, and navigation paths.
- Approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, and device type.
- Aggregated usage data used to improve site performance, content, and course offerings.
6. Email Communications
We use your email address to confirm registrations and payments, send schedule updates, deliver course materials, respond to inquiries, and — where you have opted in — send newsletters and program announcements. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional messages related to an active enrollment or exam appointment will still be sent.
7. SMS Communications
If you provide a mobile number and opt in, we may send text messages regarding class reminders, schedule changes, or testing appointments. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP or by contacting our office. We do not sell mobile numbers or share them with third parties for marketing.
8. Student Records
As a career school licensed by the Texas Workforce Commission, HSI maintains student records including enrollment agreements, attendance, evaluations, completion documents, and financial records. These records are retained and disclosed in accordance with applicable state requirements and are released to third parties only with your written authorization or as required by law or regulatory audit.
9. Data Security
- Encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) transmission of information submitted through our website.
- Access to student and applicant records limited to authorized staff on a need-to-know basis.
- Physical records stored in secured areas of our Houston facility.
- Reputable vendors used for hosting, email delivery, and payment processing.
- No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Third-Party Services
We share information with service providers only to the extent necessary to deliver our services, including website hosting and database services, email delivery providers, certification and exam vendors, translation tools, and analytics services. These providers are bound to use the information solely to provide services to HSI. We do not sell your personal information.
11. Stripe Payment Processing
Online tuition payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. When you check out, your card details are transmitted directly to Stripe and are governed by Stripe’s privacy policy. HSI receives only the confirmation of payment and limited details such as the last four digits of the card and the billing name and email you provide.
13. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults and for minors enrolled with documented parent or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
14. User Rights
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of information we are not required to retain by law or regulation.
- Opt out of marketing emails and text messages at any time.
- Ask questions about how your information is used or shared.
15. Updating Personal Information
To review or update your contact details, program enrollment information, or communication preferences, email Contact@hybridsolutions.institute or call our office. We may ask you to verify your identity before making changes to a student record.
16. Data Retention
- Student and academic records are retained for the period required by Texas Workforce Commission rules and other applicable law.
- Financial and transaction records are retained as required for tax and audit purposes.
- Inquiry, interest-list, and newsletter data is retained until you request removal or it is no longer needed for the purpose collected.
- Analytics data is retained in aggregated form.
